The most powerful argument for best business practice in the region. Attracting large organisations from the public and private sector, as well as SMEs from across the UK!

Effective environmental management forms the basis of a robust strategy from which to run any organisation and to assure that operations meet, and even exceed, the regulatory and stakeholder expectations of your brand.

Even if your organisation is not large enough to need to adhere to these issues, it will undoubtedly positively impact your sales & prospecting results.

The Big Green Event Expo is located close to the vibrant port, shopping and entertainment City of Southampton, with excellent road, rail and air links. Just minutes from a train station, the prestigious Hilton Ageas Bowl Convention Centre is on the site of the picture perfect home of Hampshire Cricket.

The Expo brings together hundreds of different exhibits, inspirational keynote speakers, an electric and hybrid vehicle arena, with test drive opportunities and free forums.  All chosen to improve your environmental and facilities management, enhance your processes, reduce your running costs and help you understand and react to the changing and challenging expectations of customers and staff in the 21st century.

What is important to your organisation?

It is important to prioritise time to work on and not in, your organisation or role within it.

If you let us have even a few hours on the 2nd October, we will ensure you are able to make the most of that valuable time.

“It’s not for us – you name it, we have probably already done it.”
We research new products, technologies, services and experts all year long, to ensure we have something new or improved to show you – alongside the best suppliers. In 2017 the Expo was host to five newly launched products and ones that had not been seen at any other show before.

Our time and money are limited  so how is an organisation of our size and resources to begin with effective environmental and facilities management?”
We certainly don’t advocate everything right now, we host the event annually so that you can look at a step by step approach and build it into a short, medium and long-term strategy.  We also offer a comprehensive educational platform through our keynote speakers and free workshops.

You talk about cutting running costs, can our business really achieve this?”
Each year our stand experts are able to demonstrate extremely impressive cost savings and process improvements from using their products or services.  Not sales talk but real case studies with real and proven data.

How do we engage our staff and get them on board because without this it will be ineffective?”
We run workshops and present keynote sessions that will help, as well as products and solutions on our show floor.

What happens after the Expo, what help is open to our business then?”
One day a year is not enough to support your business, we run other events, conferences and forums. We have a members service and we can also arrange one-to-one guidance sessions and accept questions all year round.

“We budget for our waste and energy costs, they are a headache we have learnt to manage.
Manage maybe, but why should you burden the business with those costs. Introducing a culture of energy and waste management will begin a process across the rest of the company and its usage and costs. What company could not put those savings to better use?

“Our customers and our staff seem happy with the way we do things
Big changes are happening out there. How long will it be before your customers begin to ask those questions that are difficult, or even impossible to answer because you have let your business fall behind on these issues that are increasingly becoming part of running a company?  Do you know if any of your customers are working to ISO 14001, or planning on doing so?  Maybe your customers are adopting more and more environmental and facilities management policies that will lead them to scrutinise their supply chain.

Plus, when it comes to your staff, social responsibility is fast becoming important and the companies that see the changing hopes and aspirations of the brightest and best staff will attract and retain them.

Whatever your issue, we are sure the answer will lie in a visit to the 2018 Expo

We would like to thank each one of our visitors, exhibitors, keynote speakers and LearnZone presenters. You are what makes the Expo what it has become  – a vital tool in the business calendar.

Even in this digital and social media age, face to face is still the best way to create those long-lasting relationships, to learn what solutions are available to you and to understand how they will implement into your organisation.

We look forward to welcoming you on the 2nd October 2018 when our doors open once more.
