Exhibition stands designed and built in Prestige are truly sustainable exhibiting solutions because they are modular and reusable. This means that Prestige stands can be reconfigured and reused again and again, at different shows for different stand space, and over many years. Prestige stands are also manufactured by means of ‘clean-process’. No wood, glues, laminates or solvents are used, and building your stand requires no power tools, dust or dangerous debris.

ARC was created around the core of the Herpetological Conservation Trust (HCT), in response to the wider needs of herpetofauna conservation, providing the UK focus for all aspects of reptile and amphibian conservation. Thus, ARC looks more broadly than the traditional focus on nature reserve management and rare species action plans and advocacy that had been the main reason for HCT’s formation in 1989. The creation of ARC was more than a rebranding exercise – it was established following extensive discussions with other organisations who had expressed a desire to work with and support the aims of the new charity.

As Herman Miller continues its “Journey toward Sustainability,” designing their products with consideration for their environmental impact remains a central corporate strategy. Their long-term emphasis on product durability, innovation, and quality demonstrates that our company has effectively designed for the environment for decades. (As proof, one need only consider the many classic Herman Miller products manufactured in the 1950s and still in use today.) Their focus now is on maintaining their high standards while incorporating increasingly more environmentally sustainable materials, features, and manufacturing processes into new product designs. Their Design for the Environment (DfE) team, which is responsible for developing environmentally sensitive design standards for new and existing Herman Miller products, has initiated a protocol to guide this effort. One of their design tenets is durability. They design for repeated use, repair, maintenance, and reassembly using standard parts, as often as possible.

LightFi solution turns old buildings into smart buildings that cater to your teams wellbeing while being energy efficient at the same time. Retrofitting workplaces, especially to reduce energy use, often fall to the bottom of the to-do list of landlords and tenants. It is notoriously complicated to upgrade building systems: not only does it cost a lot of man-hours and capital to install, rewire and reprogram, but it’s also disruptive, with office downtime and the end result doesn’t benefit the users. LightFi changes all this. They have created a smart building automation retrofit solution that enables responsive HVAC and lighting to give you a more comfortable and healthier working environment.

West Country Falconry say their bird pest control is perhaps better described as ‘nuisance bird management’. Where the activities of feral pigeons, gulls or other birds may be causing a hazard or serious nuisance, they may well be able to help. The first step after receiving an enquiry will usually be to arrange a site visit. After this, they can suggest a course of action, often a programme of visits with a free-flying hawk, or falcon, if appropriate. They have also been involved in building development sites in early spring where it is important to avoid construction delays due to bird-nesting in vegetation which is destined for removal. The company has a great depth of experience in this area, where an environmentally sensitive approach is essential.
