The Southern Sustainability Partnership based in Dorset is to host a one-day Conference at the Ageas Bowl Cricket Ground on the 27th April 2017 from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

The Conference is designed to highlight issues surrounding the environment and how organisations can play their part by benefiting from the resulting cost savings and improved processes that are proven to come from embracing a green agenda.

A highlight of the Conference will be a keynote presentation from the Head of Innovation at the Isle of Wight’s Ellen MacArthur Foundation – Ken Webster. The Foundation works with organisations around the globe to demonstrate the significant benefits of working to a Circular Economy.  Ken is a dynamic and inspirational speaker on the subject – making this an unmissable date for 2017.

The conference will hear from seven speakers in all, on topics from sustainable procurement and energy, to waste management training. Attendees will also enjoy refreshments and lunch. The organisers claim there is no organisation, no matter the size or sector that will not benefit from attending this important event that is set to become an annual date.

The organisers brought the Expo – The Big Green Event to the region in 2016, now working on the 2017 event this October.
