A one-day Conference, to be held at the Ageas Bowl, Eastleigh on the 27th April, has lined up a host of informative and inspirational speakers from across the UK, to help organisations understand how to meet the demands of customers and staff in the 21st Century.

There is an increasing level of expectation from the customer that their suppliers will manage the impact of their business on the environment – and from staff who expect a more socially aware employer. Headlined, Future-Proof your Business – Prepare for Growth, the event will highlight best practice in terms of waste, procurement and energy, as well as introducing the concept of working to a more circular economy.

The Conference is organised by the Dorset-based company that launched the Expo – The Big Green Event in Southampton in 2016 – which will take place on October 12th this year.

Lynda Daniels and Anita Potten Directors of The Southern Sustainability Partnership: The Conference is designed to be educational, with a goal to support UK businesses with their environmental and social management. Why, because we know it will make them more attractive to the customer, it will attract and retain the best staff to service them, reduce their running costs and, ultimately, it will help the planet.”

Speakers at the 2017 event will include Head of Innovation at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation Circular Economy, IEMA, Chartered Institute of Wastes Management, Eastleigh Borough Council and more.
